How to Add Links to Icons, Images, or Text

To connect your new website to other sites on the Internet (like your Facebook or Twitter account), you’ll need to add links that your visitors can click. These links can be attached to any icons, images, or text on your site.

Here are the individual steps for adding links with illustrations:

1. Login

  • Scroll to the bottom of your website and click the Design N Rank logo on the bottom left.
  • This will take you to a login page. Enter your password here and click login.

2. Add a link

  • Click on the image or icon you want to use as a link (or select text).
  • In the top center of your website, a new blue box will appear that says “Web link” with a white field next to it. Type the full URL you want the link to point to in this field (ex. facebook.com, twitter.com, wikipedia.org).

3. Update Your Site

  • Click the blue “Publish” button in the top right corner of your site.

And lastly, always refresh/reload your site to make sure the new change is there.
